Letter to AMI Board of Directors from FPSA’s MISA Council
To the attention of the AMI Board of Directors:
The board of directors of the Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA), would like to address recently released news about the AMI considering going to an annual exposition in April each year in place of the current biennial Worldwide Food Expo (WWFE) held in the fall. We raise the following concerns in the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. It is our belief that AMI in its analysis of the current tradeshow and economic environment has misread the situation to the potentially serious long-term detriment of both the AMI organization and the supplier community which supports it.
