The Food Productions Solutions Association and its affiliated organizations (collectively “FPSA”, “we” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy (and as amended from time to time and effective on the date posted on the FPSA website fpsa.org (“Privacy Policy”) describes how FPSA collects, uses, and shares your information when you purchase, use, and interact with our products (“Products”) and services, register for or attend our events, or download or read our content (collectively “Services”) and applies to all persons who use our Services (“Users”, “you” or “your”). Our Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of all FPSA operated and controlled websites including fpsa.org, my.fpsa.org, connect.fpsa.org, foodindustrytechnician.com (the “Websites”), and all other publicly available Services – online or otherwise – controlled or provided by FPSA.

What Information Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

Collection of Minors’ Data
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. For children between the ages of 13 to 16, we require opt-in consent from the child before collecting, selling, or sharing their personal information.

For California Residents
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires a person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.
According to CalOPPA we agree to the following: Users can visit our site anonymously. Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page, or as a minimum on the first significant page after entering our website. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’, and can easily be found on the page specified above.

To make such a request, please write to us at the address below with “Request for California Privacy Information” on the subject line and in the body of your message. We will comply with your request within thirty (30) days or as otherwise required by the statute. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.
For Citizens and Residents of the United Kingdom (UK), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
The following provisions apply only if you are a citizen or resident of the UK, EEA, or Switzerland. For such citizens or residents, all processing of your Personal Information is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations, in particular, (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and our processing will take place in accordance with the GDPR.
