The Food Processing Suppliers Association is pleased to announce the general session speakers for the 2018 FPSA Annual Conference taking place March 21-23 at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona.

FPSA will open the 2018 Annual Conference with keynote speaker Captain Scott O’Grady who will share with Annual Conference attendees his story of overcoming tremendous adversity. As an F-16 fighter pilot helping to enforce a United Nations no-fly zone policy in the skies over Bosnia, O’Grady was shot down by a Soviet-made anti-aircraft missile. Captain O’Grady will recount how he survived in hostile territory for six days before being rescued by the U.S. Marines, a heroic tale which O’Grady captured in his book, Return with Honor, that spent six weeks on The New York Times best seller list.

Joining Captain O’Grady on our program is our Friday keynote speaker, Larry Winget, bestselling author, television personality, and social commentator. Known as the Pitbull of Personal Development®, Larry has starred in his own television series on A&E, two PBS specials and two CNBC specials. Additionally, he has appeared on Dr. Phil, The Today Show, Tool Academy, The Big Idea, Larry King, and in three national television commercials. Larry is a regular contributor on many national television news shows on the topics of success, business, personal finance, and parenting.  Larry will discuss highlights from his latest book What’s Wrong With Damn Near Everything: How The Collapse of Core Values is Destroying Us And How To Fix It.

“We are looking forward to an exceptional 2018 Annual Conference that I know our members will enjoy,” said Tom Kittle, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and President of Handtmann Inc. and Handtmann Canada Limited. “This year’s Conference schedule has been modified based on member feedback to provide additional networking opportunities and a new cross segment panel discussion. This panel will bring together food processors from a variety of industry segments to address critical topics and help attendees better understand how these issues are viewed and dealt with in their particular segment.”

“The Annual Conference will truly be one of the highlight events of 2018 for FPSA members,” said David Seckman, President and CEO of FPSA. “The conference brings together executives from leading suppliers to the food and beverage industry, making this one of the best networking opportunities of the year, while at the same time providing an excellent platform to learn and engage with colleagues, customers and competitors. In addition to these excellent keynote speakers, our industry breakout sessions will feature some of today’s most innovative food and beverage processors who will share their perspective on a wide variety of topics with our attendees.”
