Verify Thermometer Accuracy with the Tel‐Tru® Check-Set® Calibrator
Rochester, NY — Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company builds industrial quality temperature instruments that improve our customers’ product quality and operational performance. We are announcing the newest generation of Check‐Set Thermometer Calibrators.
The Check-Set calibrators provide accurate and cost-effective calibration and accuracy verification for a wide range of thermometers and temperature measurement instruments, including dial and digital thermometers, filled system bulbs and electronic temperature sensors. Food safety professionals using a Check-‐Set will enjoy less plant down time due to faster and easier certification of temperature instruments; ice and boiling water techniques are simply not needed.
The new Check-Set design features:

- An interchangeable test well into which a thermometer is inserted
- Multiple standard well inserts to accommodate various applications
- Built-‐in wrench options that allow for instrument calibration

Tel-Tru made additional upgrades to keep Check-Set the optimal choice for users who need to validate measuring devices at temperatures specific to their application. A dedicated error light has been integrated, which indicates the user of any possible malfunctions of the calibrator. The airflow has also been optimized, resulting in a broader ambient temperature tolerance.
Convenient and safe to use, the Check-Set series offers industry‐leading accuracy of ±0.2°F. Temperature set points between 40°F and 212°F are available, and custom set points can also be provided upon request.
Check-Set units will satisfy the demanding requirements for plant quality assurance, preventative controls, food safety, and instrument calibration and service applications.
