Our Commitment to Supporting the Food and Beverage Industry

Making a Difference in Our Community

FPSA members and councils are dedicated to giving back to the community. Every year, we raise thousands of dollars for charitable causes and participate in activities that support the food and beverage industry.

At Process Expo, we hold a collaborative food drive in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD). Over the years, we have provided over 1.6 million meals to those in need. At their annual auction, FPSA councils fundraise for charitable causes that are important to their sectors of the food production community. We are also proud to support  Bake for Life, creating opportunities for young handicapped individuals to be trained as bakers and gain the skills to support themselves.

Scholarships
Investing in the Future

We believe in investing in the future of the food and beverage industry. That's why we offer scholarships to support education and career development within the industry.

• Career Development for full-time employees of FPSA member companies, as well as their immediate family members
• MISA Foundation Scholarship for junior or senior level undergraduate students and Masters or Ph.D. candidates in engineering or the meat sciences attending a North American university
• Tom Imbordino Dairy Science Scholarship was established in 2021 to financially support undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the dairy or food industry at a North American university

Awards
Recognizing Excellence in the Food and Beverage Industry

At FPSA, we are committed to recognizing outstanding individuals and companies in the food and beverage industry. Through Red Circle Honors, our Women’s Alliance Network recognizes women for their achievements in the industry. The award also recognizes an FPSA member company for its work in promoting workplace gender balance.

We are grateful for the leadership of the organization, including the FPSA board, committee, and network members who serve the association in addition to their other professional responsibilities. Their guidance and generosity help us achieve our educational and philanthropic goals and create a better future for the food and beverage industry.
