About

The MISA Foundation Scholarship Fund was formed in 1989 by the Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA) in an effort to encourage and support those interested in pursuing careers within the meat industry or engineering field. These scholarships, ranging up to $10,000, are awarded to junior and senior undergraduates as well as Masters and Ph.D. candidates studying engineering or meat sciences at North American universities. The program welcomes international students and emphasizes academic performance, industry commitment, and potential for success.

General Eligibility

Applicants may be junior or senior-level undergraduate students and Masters or Ph.D. candidates in engineering or the meat sciences, attending a North American university.
United States citizenship is not a requirement.
