Scholarships

Career Development Scholarships

Our flagship Career Development Scholarship Program awards multiple $10,000 scholarships annually to support the educational dreams of FPSA member families. These scholarships are available to full-time employees of FPSA member companies, their spouses, and children who are pursuing higher education. Whether you're a high school senior planning for college, an undergraduate or graduate student, or an employee interested in continuing education, these scholarships can help make your educational goals a reality.

The program recognizes academic achievement, community involvement, and commitment to personal growth. Recipients can use their awards at any accredited college or university for tuition, fees, books, and required supplies. We're proud to have supported hundreds of students over the years, helping them launch successful careers across diverse fields while maintaining strong connections to the food production industry.

Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA) Foundation Scholarships 

The MISA scholarship support students pursuing careers in the meat industry and engineering fields. These scholarships, ranging up to $10,000, are awarded to junior and senior undergraduates as well as Masters and Ph.D. candidates studying engineering or meat sciences at North American universities. The program welcomes international students and emphasizes academic performance, industry commitment, and potential for success.

The Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship

The Tom Imbordino Memorial Dairy Science Scholarship honors the legacy of Tom Imbordino, a founding member of our Dairy Council and longtime advocate for dairy industry education. A handful of scholarships are awarded annually to students pursuing careers in dairy or food science. This program specifically supports junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students in Dairy and Food Science programs.
