FPSA announces creation of new network FOR DESIGN BUILD FIRMS

McLean, VA – The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) today announced the creation of a new network of Design Build professionals to network with colleagues and tackle critical issues affecting the food and beverage industry. The new Design Build Network will join FPSA’s already existing groups including its Women’s Alliance Network, the Young Professionals Group, the Packaging Network, Food Safety Network and Technology Network.

“For years, FPSA members from the design build segment of the food industry have made significant contributions to the Association beginning with helping to organize the live Production Lines that are a highlight of PROCESS EXPO, participating in educational sessions at the show and the FPSA Annual Conference, as well as serving on FPSA’s industry councils and other networks,” said Brian Perkins, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and President of Provisur Technologies. “By creating a network specific to Design Build, these members will have the chance to set their own agenda and address topics that they know are critical for the processor. We are confident that the substantive content that this important segment of our membership will have a ripple effect for all members, as well as the customer audience.”

“The new Design Build Network will join our other Networks which were created in 2018 and have since served to identify and address critical issues that affect all industry participants,” said David Seckman, President and CEO of FPSA. “Each Network has its own leadership which establishes the group’s mission to not just address critical issues, but perhaps more importantly to collaborate with our industry councils and networks to ensure that all parties benefit from this substantive content regardless of what segment of the industry they work in.”

The Design Build Network will hold its inaugural meeting in October at PROCESS EXPO to choose its leadership and begin discussions on the topics that it would like to begin working on as a group.
