I guess that’s even more of a challenge when exhibiting at a trade show like Process Expo, where each booth is full of new technologies that cover all links in the supply chain and all segments of the diverse food and beverage industry. How do you stand apart?
After all, it’s not like the “good old days”, when attendees used to spend the entire week at the show, strolling down the aisles to see what is new. No, they have less time than ever and might visit a handful of booths on the show floor, most of which they decide on based on their needs, their contacts and on who has caught their eye in some way shape or form. We built the Process Expo Innovations Showcase to help exhibitors with this last one.
The Innovations Showcase highlights the top technologies in each industry segment (bakery, beverage, cannabis, dairy, meat, packaging, pet foods, and prepared foods) with winners receiving extra recognition on the show site, the mobile app, the show daily and during the Process Expo press conference where each winner will be invited to share details about the winning product to the assembled press. Additionally, the booths of all eight winners will be included in a scavenger hut for attendees before they vote in the People’s Choice award, bringing not just additional booth traffic but also an opportunity for even greater publicity at the show.
