If you were in Chicago two weeks ago today, you’d have seen the name EATS plastered everywhere at Process Expo. No, it’s not some new food brand … or maybe it is. EATS is the next step in the evolution of Process Expo, as it becomes the Equipment and Technology Show (EATS) for Food and Beverage for the 2025 edition. This is not simply rebranding the show with a new name. No, EATS looks to expand its industry segments to include confectionary and cannabis while expanding the quantity and quality of show floor activities attendees will find at the next show and beyond.

In addition, we are looking to expand the range of manufacturing solutions on display at EATS ’25, as that is what this audience is looking for. Automation, AI, and hygienic design? They’ll all be there, and then some!

As someone who has participated in every Process Expo since its launch in 2006, I’m excited about what the future brings to this show. Production lines? Education? Industry demonstrations? Those will all remain in the mix as long as food and beverage professionals call for them. New experiences? Yes, those are coming, but remember, we just finished the ’23 show. Keep checking back in this space, and I’m sure we’ll have some amazing announcements from now until October 2025.

In the meantime, thank you for all the support from our great exhibitors and attendees at last month’s show. We’ve received great feedback and are following up with all our membership leads who came to the FPSA booth. Having seen some of the technologies that start-ups (as well as established companies) are bringing to the industry, I assure you it is a great time to be in the food industry as a supplier or end-user. We’re moving forward, and I look forward to seeing you at the next show or the next FPSA event. All are welcome!
